I’m slowly adding monastery into my routine after being thoroughly impressed with the floral attar, I’ve now purchased the gold restorative oil. Works wonders as a PM treat after using retinol or tranexemic acid to keep skin soft and supple. I love the glow from the gold oil as well. I tend to get a bit oily so I use this sparingly however a little goes a long way so this product is packed to last. Highly recommend as a round up to a long day as it leaves you feeling like you’ve just left the spa.

Good oil, great intro to retinol

Wanted to add some retinol to my routine without getting anything too heavy duty since I had a bad reaction to a mystery ingredient a few years ago. While I like the product a lot, I think I’ll opt for a higher concentration of retinol now that I know it’s not causing any bad reactions — I also found that I needed to use quite a bit of product to cover my face, especially when doing gua sha.
