The Tsuba has a matte finish with the triangle design on top. The yellow background is painted on the backside and looks like its encased in the plastic. The backside has a color which i can only describe as a lightet shade of terracotta. There might also be a small mark from the injection moulding i presume as mine has but thats not a big deal.
