Came too large. No replacement policy
Well, I wanted to order direct from the company to take out the Amazon middle man and now I feel like it was the wrong decision. The boots were too big for both me and my husband -- understandable when ordering online. But then it got hard. Finding the return policy took work - it's not in any of the emais and you have to dig around on the website. The website gives no instructions, just tells you to call or email. I first sent a note to the "hello" address and didn't even get a response. i finally found the "customer service" email address and then -even called . The website indicated that I had to do one or the other but the person on the phone said that they couldn't do anything. They said that they didn't get the first email (and was kind of blamey to me about not finding the right one at first) and then told me that calling did nothing. It was just a waste of time. Only when I asked did they tell me that, regardless, the company didn't do exchanges at all, that I'd have to order again from scratch (and pay twice, then hope for a refund from the first). I did get an email with a prepaied return label this morning, so I'm sending the boots back. But I've ordered other boots from another company via Amazon this time. I don't know if the next size will be the right ones either, and I won't get fooled again. It's really sad that by trying to save the company money by buying direct, I had such a worse experience and had to give up.
