The mattress is expensive, but the quality is very good and the firmness feels appropriate for kids. Overall, we’re happy with the mattress itself. However, we also purchased the mattress protector from the same company to prevent any accidents, and unfortunately, it does not fit well. Even when placed correctly, it tends to shift. One night, after an accident, the protector had moved enough that the mattress ended up getting wet. We later tried a different mattress protector from Amazon (an off-brand with good reviews), and it has worked much better, staying in place and fully protecting the mattress. It’s disappointing that the company’s own protector doesn’t fit as securely as expected, especially given the price. I hope they improve this, as a well-fitting protector is essential for kids’ mattresses.

It fits the trundle perfectly. Love that we can flip it over for a firm sitting position when no one will be sleeping on it.
