Replaced my Delonghi Magnifica S with the Gaggia Magenta automatic coffee maker. I’ve used it for two weeks now. The water carafe and coffee bean holder are small by comparison. I have to empty the coffee puck holder almost daily. The on/off button is difficult to engage. I press it 3-4 times to turn it on. There is a silly mini tray that has to be inserted to make espresso. Larger espresso cups don’t fit on it. The Crema on the espresso does not match up to my Delonghi.

Nice upgrade over the Brera

Been using it for a week and loving it compared to the Brera. The touch-sensitive buttons took some getting used to but fine once you use the machine a few times, and I love having the Americano option for a bigger coffee super happy with my purchase

Perfect for our needs

Very happy with the Gaggia Magenta Plus. This is our first non-stovetop espresso machine, and I've found the compact size, simple operation, steam wand and great coffee to be perfect for we two retired people at home. The videos and tutorials on the Whole Latte Love website have been extremely useful. Only minor quibble is the size of the water reservoir. We drink mostly coffees and americanos and often have the fill the reservoir more than once a day. Recommended!!
