Subaru Ascent 7-Seater

Great trunk protector and seat backs! My only complaints are 1) the holes on the back of the 3rd row seat backs of my ‘24 Subaru Ascent Onyx aren’t perfectly lined up with the Velcro for the straps to pull the seats up. They line up close enough but it’s not perfect. 2) Likewise, I feel like the trunk mat is slightly small and not a perfect fit. 3) the Velcro on the backs of them don’t hold great to my car’s fabric. But they do still stay up well… and 4) I do wish, though, that they came with some of the floor mat clips because I did end up using some for these. That being said, the company quickly sent me out free extra clips and I only had to pay $9 for shipping. I was impressed by the ease of ordering the clips too! No questions asked. So this resolved my issue. This review is ultimately me just nitpicking the mats, and I still rated them 5 stars. They’re very high quality, so far they have been easy to clean (haven’t tested a real muddy mess yet), and absolutely give my car a more luxury SUV feel vs. utility feel. I would definitely recommend this brand of floor mats/seat backs for anyone looking to have some dirt protection for their car while still preferring it to look luxury over a rubber/utility style. But if you plan to use these floor mats in a car that will regularly be loaded with beach stuff or muddy off-roading shoes and equipment, then I’d recommend a rubber alternative brand. But if you’re looking for a luxury feel, with just regular levels of shoe dirt and dog hair then these will work great for you!

These floor mats are really quite nice… they seem like they’ll be durable, yet they’re still a luxury style vs. the rubbery look of a winter floor mat. They vacuum off easily, and fit snuggly. I only wish they had Velcro on the bottom mats to lock them in place, but the clips they come with do work well. The Velcro clips don’t work great on my Subaru Ascent but that could be the fabric of the car vs. the Velcro of the clips. They do seem to stay in place well so far. Overall, I’d definitely recommend.

Overall I’m pleased with the TuxMats. The fit for the driver’s floor mat was not exact. I expected near perfection for the price. The clips were easy to use and I like how they hold the mats in place. Time will tell on the durability of them. However, the initial quality seems good. The mats look classy and much better than rubber all-weather floor mats.
