It is handy when I drop a pick and need another quickly. Looks great.

Quality pick holder

Holds 5 or 6 picks, depending on size/shape. Everything from very thin .55 nylon picks to 1.4mm Gravity Picks (thickest I have to test with). Has been on my Custom Shop Martin for month or two now, zero issues with the finish. No sticky residues or damage from moving it. I have moved it around several times to find the right spot, and it always sticks wherever it's placed. It does, however, form a VERY strong attachment to the guitar. Definitely take your time while removing it. Could easily destroy the puck, or the guitars finish, if you're not careful. Other than that, certainly heaps better than any other holder I've tried. Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you're interested!
