People always claim that vanilla is boring and forget that it's technically an extremely exotic flavor we can't get in the United States. It's just always a readily available flavor. But that doesn't make the flavor intense or even good and knowing how the flavor is achieved is something no one probably really wants to know. I love being able to tell my clients exactly where the vanilla beans I use come from with my head held high and a sense of pride. Every fleck of vanilla in my sugar cookies is a sign of care and quality. Thank you Heilala for providing these!
