Description
Beta vulgaris (60 days) Egyptian type beets were created in the 1860s by the Germans. The Crosby strain was selected by Josiah Crosby of Arlington, Massachusetts and introduced by The James Gregory seed company around 1885.

. . . . seeds germinated very quickly, so happy with that. Growth is cells seems about average but we have had very few warm days. Tomatoes out here in Colorado won't go in the ground or outdoor pots for at least another month as opposed to back East which was always Mothers Day weekend. Will keep watch.
