Glitter top coat

We had many scratches after one year of the granite countertop. We roughened the surface and repaired the scratches then decided to recover with glitter topcoat rather than regular topcoat as it has more shine. We decided against the epoxy because of opportunities for error. We decided that we would rather repair every couple years with an option of easily changing up the countertops than take chances with the epoxy. In addition, I have a lung condition, so was unsure of the safety of the fumes of the epoxy.
