Gorgeous, classic feel

I grew up with AlphaSmarts and had an Alpha freewrite already and I LOVE it. But the hemingwrite… it’s perfect. It looks vintage. It’s clacky (even the regular version) and something about seeing him staring at me when the device is off provides the best motivation. 10/10. Also it syncs pretty much instantly.

I have been wanting to get a type writer but didn’t want to deal with the many issues that come with a type writer so this is the best option for me. Love it.

TL:DR Great hardware. Work on the software/postbox. I have very much enjoyed the time spent using this device. It is beautiful, and satisfying to write on. However, I've had issues with syncing from postbox. Especially when uploading from a mobile device to the freewrite. This needs to be truly seemless for a device with this price point. The entire point of this device is to write, so if writing goes missing, it doesn't matter how good the hardware is. Work on postbox a bit, and you'll have the perfect writing device.
