very simple mount. socket works great. simple install. I am very pleased with it. not flimsy AT ALL.

Not as secure as I’d like it to be

The mount is a bit sketchy. Firstly, the bolt to tighten the clamp was cross threaded onto the nut. It was IMPOSSIBLE to tighten the clamp. The only way I could get the nut off was to put it in a vice and put the biggest breaker bar on it that I had. So, no worries, it came off and I replaced it with a new one, all is well. Except then when I actually put it in the deck mount, only one of the two spring loaded catches extends far enough to engage with the holes in the mount. So it’s not as solid in the mount as I think it should be. Also, rather then the recommended inch and a sixteenth hole, one inch is better and more secure. I’ve been meaning to order a new one, though I really think you should probably replace it. Thanks for the opportunity to let you know. The grill itself is amazing! Super glad we got it!
