Great jute. A review from someone who wanted a plush
I spent hours -- no, days --doing research across the internet and New York looking for a green 8x10 rug to complete my space. This was not an easy task. There are so many shades of green. I initially set out to get a plush rug, but I ended up going with Revival jute due to the price and the color. I am comparing this to plush rugs, as that was what I envisioned initially, but jute was the way to go for me, and I will explain why I am happy with it. To start with the negatives, some the common critiques are valid - which is that it is delivered with folds. I walked over mine and let it lay on a pad, but they are still visible. It is not a big deal at all. I also find the corners like to turn up, but they are easy to lay back down. I feel the edges are the slightest bit uneven, but due to the texture, it truly doesn't matter and I view it as a positive. I also have a massive coffee table on mine which puts pressure on it, and a big lounge chair with cast iron feet that are imprinting the rug - but the jute handles that way better than a plush rug would. But, that is something to be aware of. Those are the negatives. Anyone here reading reviews knows that getting a good rug is a challenge - there is so much trash out there, and there is so much overpriced stuff. Getting a good affordable rug is near impossible. I still think this is a tad overpriced, but it is the best value for money on the market for a rug in 2026, and I mean for that to be high praise. The color is a deep, beautiful, textured moss that looks elegant in the sunlight, it's lighter than it shows online, and actually very similar to the Nordic Knots Moss color but without the sheen - and then becomes calming and ominous dark green, almost black at night. It's truly such a nice weave that seems like it will be durable, and the differences in thickness and height create this amazing texture. The jute sheds but only minimally for me thus far, and I like that it's easy to vacuum when I see little bits of stuff on it. I have passed over it with a regular vacuum, but following care instructions would be wise, as I have harmed other rugs with the wrong vacs. You will need a rug pad. I got a felt one off amazon and it stays in place perfectly (though again, I have furniture on it). The pad adds the right layer of support underfoot to make the roughness of the rug feel just right. Like walking across a flat forest terrain. For those out there thinking about going plush but are viewing this rug. . . really give it some thought. I was between this, the Wayfair/RugsUSA speckled rug, and the Nordic Knots grand plush. This is about a quarter of the price of the NK rug (which is outrageously overpriced). I actually got the runner version of the Wayfair rug to layer on top of this, but ended up using it as a runner elsewhere. It's okay, but it pales in comparison to the Nordic Knots plush, and the speckled color is not so nice in comparison. I can also tell the quality of that rug's construction is a notch or three below. I would also say the NK rug is the best to stand on by a huge margin. Soft and supportive. But this is great to stand on too, like a massage underfoot, as another commenter said. For the price, if I were to destroy this rug, I would be able to go out and buy another, and it would still be cheaper than a single Nordic Knots rug. So while that was the dream, this is an absolutely excellent jute and I do not think you will regret it.

One of my favorite variations on the standard Hart from Revival. This olive green rug has some bright undertones but mainly rich olive overtones. The color works well with light oak flooring.

Love the rich green color that highlights the forest green in dining room chairs. Dining room chairs glide over the low, soft, tight weave. Smooth transition from wood floors. Love this rug!
