Delter Coffee Press

Outstanding product!

I am exceptionally happy with this product, it is made of high quality material and makes great coffee every time! I would highly recommend this product.

We’ve just renovated our kitchen and wanted to replace our Aeropress, which we’ve been using since the Aeropress 2005 launch, with an Aeropress Clear, however this Delter Press looked great and was so well priced. How wrong I was. It takes ages to make a coffee, to the point I have to microwave it because it has taken so long that it has cooled past drinking temperature. When you press the coffee down it burns your hand with the steam. Yes, there’s a rubber plug to stop the steam - it does reduce it to a degree but over all doesn’t work. The holes in the rubber strainer are so tight that the pressure caused by trying to press the coffee through has made the screw cap loosen every time I used it, resulting in grains in my coffee and down my cup. It’s also hard to empty, unlike the Aeropress which pops the coffee out in a “plug”. With the Delter you have to tap it to make the coffee. The item was so cheap I couldn’t even be bothered to post it back I just threw it out. Awful.

I found this really hard to make a nice cup of coffee. I can’t fit the recommended amount of coffee in it and it leaked when I used the press. Not for me and despite watching the video on “how to” about 50 times I could not get it right.
