Kanso Hiku Hand Coffee Grinder

Fantastic

Aside from the grinder, they delivered in every way! Excellent customer service, shift right after I ordered on the same day (within 2 hours!), kept me up to speed and only a few emails, and arrive to my door perfectly. All the way across the globe in a week. I cannot say enough good about the company and their service. The grinder arrived in perfect shape, exactly as described and depicted, absolutely premium. I have my opinions on how it grinds, favoring espresso and mocha pot for sure. It makes an excellent mocha pot and aeropress grinder. And I mean one of the best grinders you can buy. It grinds extremely fast, I would say faster than any other grinder on the market. It's stiff grinding when using light to medium beans. Dark roast is a dream, and it chews through coffee. Nearly zero retention, extremely easy to clean, the burrs come polished and sharp (I selected the titanium nitride coated burrs) and aligned, calibrated and assembled. You get what you pay for, and this thing is beautiful. If I was to say anything negative, I would say it's a bit hard to grind for some, but I really like it! It gives you feedback like no other grinder. In fact I noticed it would almost tell you to slow down, because you could feel how the beans wanted to feed into the pre-breakers. This actually changed the cup. It brought out very chocolatey and caramelized notes in a medium roast. It also felt better grinding a finer grind, taking me out of the norm of how I usually brew my coffee, and gave me an entirely new experience! Isn't this exactly why we buy new coffee stuff!? It was the experience I was hoping for and more. Not disappointed with any aspect of this grinder. If anything, it will grind large granule size like cold brew, but then again it works with a finer grind then my other grinders. Hard to explain but it works. This Grindr is not like any other grinder, and that is exactly why I bought it. And it delivered.
