A chemex reinvented

I am really pleased with this brewer. I got this to replace my chemex that I broke and got this at a really great price. The silicon cover I got with it I didn't really like, so I removed it and put on the wooden collar which makes it look like a chemex. The collar is not as thick as the chemex, but it works ok. That is my only really gripe with it. However there is so many things that are much better then the chemex. It is ridged so the filters sit up for better flow as well as additional spout on the other side with an affixed glass straw which means you will never have issues with stalling. It is also a lot faster flow. The brew usually completes in around 3 mins instead of the usual 5 mins with the chemex. So the brew is more closer to the cleaner taste of a v60. I definitely recommend this brewer to anyone, it is much more convenient having a brewer and server all in one, it is easy to clean, you can use a variety of filter papers with it as well.

I love this little Brewer it's fantastic. Perfect Two cup using v60 filters at the moment haven't tried anything else. Just the fact that I can use any filter is great and the additional feature of the small glass tube to prevent an airlock is brilliant. It looks great and has a tiny footprint in my kitchen.
