Does the job, well better than fishing a filter from a plastic bag. Looks nice and makes the experience more - premium. The only thing I worry about is the accumulation of dust over the course of my 100 filter pack use. But I guess the water never actually touches that top edge anyway. Alternative Brewing are a great place to buy.
