Mixed Feelings

The lamp is nice and heavy but not happy with the lampshade. I purchased them to be used with the Vant Floating NightStands, however, the drum lampshade requires the lamp to be pushed out to the edge of the nightstand to fit which is not idea. The shade uses a Euro style socket fitting which is not addressed in the details. I'm having difficulty finding a replacement shade in a different shape (oblong or square). The reviews are also misleading because they include comments for the Vant Outline Lamp such as being dimmable and having USB ports which are not features on the Column Lamp and can be confusing to buyers if you don't read the details carefully. Anyways, shipping costs to return them probably aren't worth it in the end so I'll find another place to use the lamps and purchase different lamps for the nightstands.
