Notice in the picture the model has it cinched in at the waiste with her hands. When it lays flat its more boxy. But not bad the underneath hokds you in and its drapes over you. I like it i fo t love it. Its heavy also. Lots of fabric. Little pricey but not cheap in ANY WAY.
