Outstanding Design and Durability, Let Down by Missing Parts and Support Process

Bought two of these screens to conceal an HVAC unit. We have extensive experience with privacy screens on our property, and the Veradek screens are by far the sturdiest, heaviest , and most expensive we have used. We anchored the feet into two large 24" square pavers, and they are extremely secure. The design is well executed, and we look forward to seeing the metal develop its natural patina over time. Unfortunately, we did not receive enough hardware to complete the assembly. Across the two packets, three bolts and three nuts were missing. In addition, two nuts required extra effort (burr removal and WD-40) before they could be used as intended. While the Veradek hardware is generally of higher quality than that supplied with the seven other screens (2 different manufacturers, but both supplied extra fasteners) on our property, the missing pieces here were a disappointment. I am fine with you supplying exactly what is needed, but someone needs to double-check counts and make sure there are no manufacturing defects. The support process added to the frustration. When requesting replacement parts on the Veradek website, providing an order number should have been sufficient; being asked for the SKU felt unnecessary, particularly since it was not readily available on the paperwork or in the email (as the site suggested). We also did not realize the hardware shortage until we were near the end of assembly, so lifting it up wasn't going to happen. Finally, the system seemed to require reporting an entire package of fasteners as missing, when in reality we simply needed a small number of bolts and nuts. Greater flexibility in allowing customers to specify exactly what is missing would significantly improve the experience.

Exceed Expectations!

Really happy with my purchase of Veradeck’s Quadra Privacy screen with stand. It’s sturdy steel and with quality welding. Setup was quite easy as well; I did it alone. Only taking off one star because I find it to be a bit expensive. But at the end of the day, it is high quality that will hopefully last a lifetime!

These privacy screens are great quality and feel very durable. Love the modern design and will offer just the right amount of privacy from neighbors.
