Rue Open Crown Hat

This is by far the hat profile that I love the most from GP. Own several profiles in various color schemes. But this is just a great easy to wear/style hat profile. Unfortunately, I will probably have to exchange this hat due to a noticeable flat spot on the back portion of the crown. (Olive arrived without any issues in the same box. The flat spot is literally on the rounded dome portion of the hat so I can’t steam it or attempt a repair — but I also don’t think I should have to try to repair a new hat. The box was pristine so it was shipped out with this flat spot.) My hope is that they will decide to make the Rue in a couple more colors!! It is my go-to hat profile. The crown and brim ratio is perfection that allows you to wear this with denim to sequins…

I’ve been wanting this in Olive for awhile now and finally gave in. I have quite a few hat styles from GP but I really enjoy this open crown profile!! The color is a bit darker than I anticipated but it is a winner nonetheless. Can’t wait to pop up my Indigenous designed bandana to make this a true showstopper!

Beautifully made hat. Wonderful customer service. My go to for hats from now on.
