NOT THAT GREAT
I am trying to make an awning for my camper. This involves 2 adjustable length horizontals from the roof and 2 verticals with a 3/4" conduit at the front running horizontally. A simple design. I used 3/4 with a 1/2 insert with these clamps to allow adjustability in both distance from the camper and height. Sounds straightforward right? WRONG. You cannot tighten the clamp onto the 3/4 to stop it being able to be pulled off the end. You also cannot pin it with a screw because if you do the slide action is lost. Short of a tube of super glue it is impossible to get these to stay put. Plus they are highly overpriced. It is a bit of molded plastic. Worth about $5 tops instead of the outrageous $10.
