Soft shirt but odd fit

Not a traditional/standard cut Tshirt for sure. And I’m against a lot of the more modern cuts either. But this one fit weird. I’m 6’ & 255lbs. I purchased a XXL. The body of the shirt was fine, but the sleeves were quite short and fit tight like maybe a size L (at best). I gave it to my dad since he has skinnier arms.
