Display Case for LEGO® Star Wars™ UCS Millennium Falcon (75192)

Flimsy. Pricy.

Where to start... I had been contemplating purchasing this case for a while now. Because I waited, and live in the US, add $100 to the price due to tariffs and duty tax, and it's now practically half the cost of the UCS Falcon. But, based on the majority of positive reviews, I bought it. Understand that I am an Engineer. I build and troubleshoot complex systems daily. Putting together something like this shouldn't have been this problematic. The minifig stand - the tolerences for the tab/slot connections were definitely too tight. When inserting the 3 stand offs into the minifig base, it cracked in 2 places. This was the same with the Falcon stand. Attempting to install the 2 uprights for the stand, again... too tight, I opted to not proceed as it would have cracked the base as well. I decided to just use my old BrickAccessories stand instead - it fit just under the case top by a quarter of an inch. I had also decided to get a graphic background as well for extra $$. Well, the graphic registration was a bit off. You can see the separation at the minifig base and under where the 75192 USC plaque attaches via magnets. the graphic is off by 1/8 of an inch. Clearly visible. The case itself? Wobbly. No matter how I assembled it, the case wobbles like an chair with a short leg. Now, this review would have been just 1 star, but customer service was actually very responsive - added a star. They sent over a whole new case at no charge. That was awesome of them. But there were still issues. The bottom of the case arrived cracked and broken (not WickedBrick's fault). The minifig stand was much better, the pieces did slot in way easier then the first one, but the Falcon stand... nope. Couldn't get it to slot in fully - not even half way, if left like that they just popped out. If I forced it, it would have cracked the base. Stayed with the BrickAccessories stand - it's a better stand anyway as all the landing gears can stay in. The graphics were still off by 1/8 of an inch as well. I assembled the case... still wobbles. Now, this could be due to needing to reuse the bottom of the old case as the new one was broken on arrival. Is it a good case? Sure... but not at the price I paid - this case feels like a $50 case at best. For $430+, I would expect something a lot more solidly engineered. Better printing of graphics, and honestly... feeling like the case is actually protecting the contents with in it. This case for what it costs.... doesn't feel like it does that at all. At this point... I'm done. This was a very frustrating experience, and I can't help but feel like it was a waste of money.

Great Display Case Despite the Long Wait

The quality of the display case is excellent after building it, however had to wait 13 weeks for delivery. Unfortunately the back panel and one of the side panels were damaged, probably during transit. These were replaced but took another 5 weeks after reporting the damage.

Millenium Falcon

Great kit! Although some delays in build and send, the team was always willing to provide and update when contacted. Kit was built easily. Only opportunity for improvement is if a cable slot is optioned to allow light kit wire feeding through. Drilled a small hole myself to suit.
