Time saved

The nut is slotted with the precise string width for the eight strings of the mandolin. The excess hanging over the neck edge filed off smoothly. If I can make a Tusq nut work on a restoration, I'll use it. It saves a lot of time spent making one from scratch.

Spot on!!!

I completely expected to have to do some sanding but it fit my Loar LM-520 perfectly and the first fret action was perfect!! The tonal difference is noticeable over bone and the string lubrication is a big plus!! Highly recommended!!!
