Not happy with the customer service

The ring is pretty but has a very thin shank. I don't wear it often because of this. It's pretty fragile. I ordered it on 12/10/2023. The ring was supposed to be a birthday gift for me (from my husband) which was before Christmas. Like so many other Christmas babies, I end up with combined birthday/Christmas gifts. I received an email on the 15th saying it was almost finished and ready to ship. It did not ship and did not arrive on time for my birthday several days later, so I emailed on 12/20 to see if I would at least get it by Christmas. I got a canned response basically saying they were too busy to answer questions but would get back to me in a couple days. I finally received a response the afternoon of the 21st saying it would ship that day. It did finally ship on the 21st and arrived in my area a couple days before Christmas. Unfortunately, no effort was made to get it to me in time for Christmas. I don't think it would have been too difficult to ask me if I wanted to pay to have it expedited so that I would have it on the 25th, especially when I asked if it be here by then. The sad thing is that it sat at our post office until the 27th of December. Because of the shipping method used, it was not delivered to me on Friday or Saturday. No birthday present and no Christmas present! I know the importance of good customer service and the need to keep good customers. Having worked many holiday seasons, I know that going the extra mile to make someone's day or holiday goes a very long way even if you are busy.
