Yamagata Tsuyahime 2023 rice crop

We loved everything about this rice, the texture, flavor, shape. I cooked the first batch with Mikasakinoko, the cook-with-rice seasoning "mushroom". The pairing could not have been more divine. Some may not like the inconsistent texture of the varieties of mushrooms, but I do. It is not salty, nor inexpensive, but it is currently sold out. Count me in as a repeat customer on both products...though I want to try ALL the varieties of rice eventually.

Wonderful brown rice

This is one of my favorites brown rices. All the rice from the rice factory is always so fresh, which is most noticeable when switching from a grocery store product. Highest recommendation.
