Black for white nut swap on a new ukulele. I only needed to file a bit off the bottom to match neck angle under the nut. Perfect string spacing too

Replace nut on Gretsch 9121 tenor ukulele

I had to do some delicate sanding (used an emory board) to get it to the correct size, but I knew that when I made the purchase. Low G 4th string fits very well. Very satisfied!

Just what I wanted

I've had good experience with TUSQ nuts in the past, so it was the obvious choice for my new build. I love how the black TUSQ XL looks, especially against lighter wood, and I know I can count on the quality of the material.
