Foot pad does not seem to be as dense as the white version with the gray foot pad?

5 stars for service but quality not what its been in past

I've been wearing Thor for decades. Just bought 6 pair to update wardrobe. But within 30 days, seems were coming undone and black fibers were everywhere. This is after multiple washes following instructions. I even sized up as I know they can shrink a little. Customer service is still excellent, replaced right away. I hope that was just a glich and new ones are better.
