Absolutely Loved This Coffee
This was the first Hoboken coffee that I have tried. Yes, it's a classic Kenyan, Yes, it's got that Peaberry thing, but this great coffee is what happens when high-quality beans meet the perfect roasting level. To me it had subtle notes of blueberry pie on a buttery crust with just a dash of lemon and cinnamon ... I'll be back!

Trey was right, this made the chemicals in my brain do exciting things!
These freshly-ground beans smelled amazing. After grinding it was turned up to 11. I almost wanted to eat the grounds as-is. After brewing it poured a beautiful golden brown/amber color. Just looks dark in the mug. It makes me wish I had one of those fancy double-walled glass mugs. Official tasting notes say “herbal, zesty, clean”. Typical notes for Kirinyaga county coffees include berry jam, mandarin, and lemongrass. I agree with most of this. Up front there is a mild fruity sweetness like berry preserves that don’t have any sugar added. It’s an extremely bright, clean, and crisp cup of coffee. Definitely get a lot of the herbal/lemongrass notes. And there’s an interesting mild bitterness on the back palate to finish. Excellent single origin coffee!

Delicious
Flavorful, balanced, nothing too harsh. To date, my favorite Hoboken roast.
