Perfect size and shape
These side plates are the perfect addition to my set, almost like a small circular tray, just perfect.

Perfect Appetizer or Dessert Plate
I have dinner size plates and bowls,but needed something for smaller bites. I started with four and use them so much have asked for 4 more for Christmas. I love the burl. The have hefty weight, yet stack beautifully. Burl also seems to resist scratch marks.

Beautiful plates
I bought a set of side plates and salad plates before taking the plunge on a full set. The plates are beautiful. They work out especially well for summer nights when you decide to take your supper to the patio. The sides keep food from spilling, and the plates are nice and sturdy. A full set is in my future.
