Over priced for what it does

We ordered this device for my partner who is deaf, so he can be actively involved with our newborn. We are in Canada so we were expecting the currency conversion, which was almost another $200, but then they wouldn’t deliver the product with out duty. This product was over $800. It doesn’t connect to your phone, there is no camera, it’s literally a vibration for the bed and a pager. You have to take the batteries out in the cry listening device when the baby’s not sleeping otherwise the whole system bed, and pager vibrates when you are just talking. I’m pretty upset with the cost and the lack of what it does. More of a hassle. We have a separate video monitor that we bought that monitors the babies breathing and goes directly to our phones which also vibrates for 1/4th the cost! Please look at other options cause until the price of this is dramatically reduced better off with a different product!
