I bought the DryRobe for staying warm on a boat or beach changing in and out of a wetsuit. But what I wear it for is EVERYTHING! Walking the dogs, going to the dog park, running errands… I stay completely warm and dry.

Great Fabric, lousy zipper

The reason I purchased the dryrobe (second purchase within 5-years) is the zipper on my first dryrobe was very difficult to use. The plastic teeth which constitute the zipper never did properly allow the zipper to move freely. I still have that dryrobe. It is in perfectly good condition. But the zipper does not work. With regard to my new dryrobe, I leave the zipper half zipped and just 'step into' it and never allow the zipper to go more than half way down. All it takes is for just one plastic zipper 'tooth' to get compromised and the whole zipper is inoperable beyond that position. So far the new dryrobe is fine. Fantastic fabric, color, seamstress, warmth and style ( I notice that since I purchased my first dryrobe, others at the community I live have nonchalantly looked over mine and suddenly they have one (water aerobics crown). I'm a lap swimmer

Brilliant for outdoor swimming!

Fantastic purchase, no regrets! I thought it might be overrated but no. I swim in an outdoor pool and this has made the experience so much better year round, as I don't catch any chill getting out of the pool -- it keeps me really warm, even if I wait until I get home to shower!
