I recently received the 4" VentWorks wall vent and it is the highest quality vent I have seen on the market after looking at many other products. The heavy 26 gauge galvanized steel construction is built to last in the harshest environments. The design also incorporates an "active" damper which provides positive closure using a spring return on the damper hinge pin. This is a unique feature not available on the other products I researched. The VentWorks products are a well made solid choice in dryer and exhaust fan venting systems. Very well thought out vent

I really appreciate the heavy duty construction and operation of the vent. With just the right amount of resistance on the flapper, it opens when needed, and when not in use, it’s securely closed. Good product!

Fantastic vent hood!

The vent hood is perfect! I wanted a metal hood to stand up to our harsh weather on the coast of Maine. I got the vent hood in white to match our house trim. It looks great. The vent fan was installed yesterday. Today we are having wind gusts of 50 mph. The vent hood is not banging at all.
