Thermo B starter culture is awesome! Before I knew about this, my cheese started to change the taste in a few days, than I learned about this starter culture from a friend. Since I use it, my cheese keeps the taste for month in the fridge, and the aging prosses now works great! I now love making cheese. (I make the hard, squeaky cheese).

Excellent culture
I enjoy making cheese. I've used this start and made a mother culture from it and all my cheeses have worked very well. I've found I have to let it sit about 15 min longer with the mother culture to get the same results as using it directly from the packet. I like to taste my cultures as I make them and this one is my favorite as it has a shorter time to set up and doesn't have to cool down as much and it tastes sweet and very mild and acts alot like yogurt. I've done the regular mozzarella cheeses and also parmasan (which is aging right now). My favorite is manchego which I make quite frequently and it uses both mesophillic and thermophillic cultures. Very nice culture and would recommend it for those who are trying to make a mother culture for their cheeses!

I learned about this culture a few years ago and don't make cheeses without it anymore. It makes the cheese last long, and makes aging cheese possable and really good tasting. I use it to make squeaky cheese. We love it!
