Nice Brackets

These mounts are excellent. I was having difficulty finding replacements for my Trans Awn when one broke. I figured the awning was toast as it’s older, and these brackets were likely no longer available. Then I found these, and they’re much better than what was originally on there. Thanks

Well designed mount. Extruded 6061, so its consistent and easy to adapt to other base mounting hardware. Note the drawing for the Series 1000/2000 are incorrect. You'll need at least .250" from the top of the mount to any overhanging rack/bar/mount to clear the awning housing.

Didn’t fit

I ordered (2) Series 1000/2000 Awning Mounts for a rain gutter rain that specifically stated for VW van. 2 packs arrived but they were not the same. They sent out a replacement that arrived 3 business days later. When I went to install, there is no possible way these would fit my VW. I had to grind off a part that extended off the bracket towards the roof and it still didn’t fit. I emailed for assistance on Sat. Followed up on Tuesday. It’s Wednesday and I still don’t have an answer as to why it doesn’t fit. At $80 a set I should not have to keep grinding to make them fit. That are well built and probably fits some vehicle well but it does not work for a VW
