Hefty Secure Double Mount

I use this to mount two 30" shovels instead of an axe & shovel. After all when you are stuck digging is double the fun with a partner. I did add some bulb seal alongbthe shovel reset to prevent noise & vibration as well as damage to the shovels. The moubt can be locked with an ABUS 145/30 or similar sized combo lock. This is a large mount at 8" L x 6.75" T and 2.5" W.

Works pretty well

This mounting bracket functions well, although doesn’t have the flexibility one might hope for. Depending on how you want to mount it, you y have to drill a hole or two. As with most of the other K9 accessories we have purchased, the mount (in the box) had been dropped somewhere, and a bent corner needed to be straightened, which wasn’t difficult, but slightly annoying. The mount adjusts so it tightly grips both the Gerber axe and shovel, without rattling.
