I placed my order at the beginning of December and received my order in a very reasonable time frame. I did not remove the item from the plastic wrap until after the holidays since I did not intent to shampoo carpets until company and business had went away. There is a piece missing (the circular lid that goes to the top of it where you could hook in the accessories). I have tried calling Hoover directly, which is where I ordered the part from, with no answer for 2 days. I even attempted to chat with them on their website with no response and even sent emails. I love my Hoover products but the customer service definitely needs to be addressed. I can’t even use my machine until this is fixed.
