Fiddlerman Concert 5-String Viola Outfit

I wanted the 5 string viola but I have already purchased most of what comes with the outfit beforehand. Customer service was very responsive, and pleasent to talk to! They were happy to send me the Viola by itself. I got the 16 inch with a high E. They sent it to me with Hellicore strings. The viola is well set up, and leagues above the amazon viola that I started with. Its also got some impressive volume and overtones. I went into this with the intention of investing in an instrument that I will be learning on, and growing my skill with for the foreseeable future. I am very happy with my purchase!

An excellent value, and beautifully packaged. I’ve played the violin for over 20 years and wanted to add a viola to my collection. I got the 16” and I love this instrument so much already! The deep tones sound full and wonderful. I was curious about the E string on such a large instrument, so I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the higher tones: rich and full. All my old violin solos sound great on it. The narrower spacing of the strings will take some getting used to, but that will be a pleasant learning curve to navigate. The outfit comes with everything you need. I would recommend this to anyone who juggles both violin and viola. Thanks for the fantastic product and customer experience!

5-String Viola (15")

I have played viola for about 30-35yrs. I have picked the rest of the violin family up along the way. I have also taught private lessons for the last 10yrs. Now I have the ability to have 2 instruments in one. For the price point that this instrument outfit is, this is a perfect instrument, I played it for about an hour right after I opened it up.
