A good addition to expand range, some caveats for the power profile

Overall, I like the new motor, and it gives me options to ride when it’s windy when I would normally stay home or ride my other bike. the only thing I don’t like is how jarring it is when you stop and start pedaling again, especially at low speeds. I actually go to assist zero at stop signs, or when making any kind of turns. It feels like something that could be addressed with a better power assist profile at low speeds. Maybe a firmware update? I also don’t use the throttle, I actually unplugged it, thankfully it doesn’t need to be plugged in to ride.

Evens up our endurance levels with my wife

Have a situation with my wife where we both love our elliptigos, but since I'm an avid cyclist ability levels with reasonable heart rates are quite different. Having her get the electric conversion has been wonderful in that we can now easily ride together! Very easy to install, and wonderful to use. Brought new life to exercise journey together!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the e-bike conversion kit for my 11r. Installation was challenging, but, with the help of Keri’s video, I had it done in about 3 hours. Tried my first test ride today, and ended up riding 20 miles. It’s easy to use and makes riding even more fun. It’s still a great workout, but hills and strong winds are no longer my enemy. I admit waiting way too long to buy the kit. Don’t wait! Order it. It’s worth it!! Bob in Indiana
