Never have had a problem. We even forgot to change it a couple of times. Never noticed a bad smell in our closet. But since then we try to change it on schedule to maximize the reason for a filter. Company has very good customer service too

Shipped the correct part,the price was good. The quality is great.Only down fall was it seem to take quite some time to be shipped and Delivered.

I’ve never had any problem with these filters as long as you unhook the hose from the cannister while storing. Otherwise they’ll develop an odor.
