This varnish oil is very nice to work with. The natural ingredients make it non-toxic and the smell is pleasant. Doesn’t give a headache or make me feel sick. I am using this on old pieces of driftwood and it’s soaking in nicely. The consistency is nice because it can get in the cracks but still soak in so doesn’t leave any residue or stickiness. It’s smooth and not oily feeling. It leaves a beautiful matte oiled look, (not glossy) once it’s soaked in. I am really liking how it’s turned this old dry wood into hydrated and alive wood. All the grain patterns and textures have darkened and the wood looks ‘happy’ and can still ‘breathe’. Highly recommend! OakTree Supply has been great to order from! Tried and True

This product is easy to apply and the results are very good. I have tried Osmo Polyx, Rubio Monocoat, Minwax rub on poly, shellac and other products. Each has their place. I recommend that you try using this polymerized linseed oil finish. It is not high gloss(which I prefer). It is food safe and has very little odor.
