Excellent Flexible I/O Platform for Advanced Raspberry Pi Automation

I purchased the Home Automation 8-Layer Stackable HAT as part of a custom BACnet/IP automation controller project running on Raspberry Pi, and the hardware has been extremely capable and flexible. What impressed me most is the variety of supported input types and how configurable the platform is. We successfully tested and integrated: * 0-10V inputs * 0-3.3V inputs * 4-20mA sensors * 1K thermistors * 10K Type 2 thermistors * 10K Type 3 thermistors * 20K thermistors * Dry contact inputs * Counter inputs We are using the board as part of a larger BACnet-native automation platform with a custom web UI and controller software running locally on Raspberry Pi. The board has been stable and responsive during commissioning and testing. The ability to combine universal inputs, analog outputs, relays, and stackable expansion makes this a very powerful platform for industrial, HVAC, pool, irrigation, and custom automation projects. The Sequent hardware gave us the flexibility needed to build a fully local-first automation controller with BACnet integration and custom engineering logic. One future enhancement we are planning is using the onboard LEDs more actively within our software platform for live input/output state indication and commissioning diagnostics. Very happy with the purchase and looking forward to expanding the platform further.
