The Pre-Loaded Raspberry Pi OS did not boot on the Raspberry Pi 5 that I received, and I had to re-flash it with the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS just for it to get past a kernel panic: not syncing error. Thankfully I had a way to read an SD card but that was scary, thinking it was going to be a problem already, out of the packaging.

It worked fine

I had a problem writing a copy of the current RPi OS to a micro sd card so I sprung for the preloaded card. It works just as it should and I am happy with the product even though I have since been successful writing the OS on my PC at home. Thanks
