Great kit, great rod!

Like all the building kits from Epic everything in top quality. I have built up five Epic rods now and I love them all - in different situations. The 590G is crisp and sensitive. Exactly what I was looking for!

Good instructions generally. However the graphics on reel seat and end cap didn’t align with the reel when it was fitted. I hadn’t checked these prior - just assumed that they would align properly with a fitted reel!

Worth every cent!

First time building a fly rod and I’m hooked! Everything turned up super fast and the process of building was so easy to follow with the instruction book provided. The rod is a dream to cast paired with the backcountry reel! Can’t wait to create my own home built arsenal of these rods!
