The book has provided valuable guidance as we have 5 pregnant does and no prior experience as goat midwives. Two does have given birth so we have 3 more to go and will continue referencing the book constantly. I'd give the book 5 stars if it didn't dwell so much on does giving birth in sub-zero temperatures. We're in Northern California where kidding season doesn't even approach freezing.
