Very versatile. I got to first taste this at Naro’s cocktail bar - mixologists there were creative and talented. Then I tasted this at two other fine dining restaurants - it was used in their course menu. Not a good cook, I used this to make my summer drink and my friends enjoyed my mocktail. My mom in California also loved its quality when she received her gift, and said she could use it for diverse purposes. It’s so thick and dense, you only need it a little which means it lasts a long time.

unexpectedly refreshing
We’ve used it in a tofu dish which lent a flavor that I’d miss if we didn’t have it. As suggested, I’ve added it to sparkling water for a quick drink, and I've put it into cocktails with vodka and sparkling lemon (Fever Tree Sicilian Lemon) with a twist, and my mom thought it was the most delicious cocktail she’s ever had. I plan to keep a bottle in my fridge always.

Excellent flavor.
Love this extract - I like to combine it with a bit of lemon juice, some water and a ton of ice in a large water bottle to rehydrate after a long day. It offers a lovely sweet/sour profile that is refreshing and not at all cloying - if you're familiar with pomegranate molasses, it kind of reminds me of that in its sweet-sour balance and could probably be used in similar cooking applications. Have also served the same mixture to guests (extract, lemon juice and water) as a non-alcoholic beverage alternative and it was very popular - definitely could see this served in lieu of lemonade, by the pitcher-full, in the summertime. I also have a sneaking suspicion that this extract would make some pretty amazing cocktails - I haven't gotten around to experimenting yet, but am thinking perhaps simply with gin, as a kind of variation on a gimlet, where the extract takes the place of the lime (the extract's sour side) and the simple syrup (its sweeter side). I just ordered my second bottle, so now I might finally get around to testing that theory out... A final note: IMHO, another two pluses for this extract are its longevity and its ability to serve as a space saver. Once opened, I keep mine at the back of the fridge and never have to worry about it going bad - too, rather than having to store bottles of pre-made, flavored drinks in my apartment, just to have them on hand for when I might want one, this single bottle yields bottle after bottle of delicious drinking while taking up very little space (and, at the same time, it's probably also healthier in that there aren't any weird ingredients on the label). Two thumbs up!
