KICKSTER Elite Portable Soccer Goal 18.5x6.5'

Heavy Lifting; Not Really Portable

I ordered the Elite 18.5' x 6.5' goal and immediately processed a return upon receiving it. I did not open it up so I can't attest to the quality of the goal. But I returned it because it is just way too heavy and cumbersome. The photos on the product website page are a little misleading as it makes it seem like the goal is easily carriable and portable. It is not. This is an instance where something is much bigger and heavier than you would expect. It is a back breaker and would require some sort of wagon or pull cart to carry it to a field if you are trying to "carry" it by yourself comfortably. Upon further looking at the product website page, I see that the box weight of the goal is listed and I now realize that I mistakenly assumed that the box weight would account for some packaging and weight of the box, etc. But there's not too much in terms of packaging so the goal itself weighs essentially what is listed as the box weight. I inquired with Quickplay if I would be able to return the goal in exchange for a different "lighter" version but was told they do not process exchanges and I was thus charged a $30 return fee. If you are interested in any of their goals, I would look to purchase from other online retailers as at least some of them offer free shipping and free returns so that you won't be out of substantial return shipping costs if something doesn't work out as expected.

Great goal, not sure about the company behind it

The concept of the goal is great. It is doing exactly what it needed to do. After only one use, the internal wire that holds the longest pieces together, 18 ft long has broken. When I contacted customer service, I was told, it's not a necessary part, it's just meant to help you. This was a terrible answer to hear. So while I like the goal, I do not like this answer. I'm not sure what would have been a better answer, but they have a 1-year warranty so I assume I should have been sent a new bar and it could have sent back the old one.

I purchased a goal. A part broke (my fault). I tried to replace the part but was told that they do not stock/sell parts. My only option was to purchase a whole new goal as replacement. Unacceptable!
