Works great.

This was my first time using a log splitter. After using a few times, I wasn't so afraid of it. I am 80 years old and need to have the big logs split for the wood stove. I still have to lift them to the splitting area but it is so rewarding to see the log turn into something I can handle. This splitter has really helped me after having a rotator cuff replacement. Those big logs are the ones that damaged my shoulder and I sure like seeing them split up. I am teaching my niece (60) how to use it so I can watch her do all the work. The only problem I had was knowing how much fluid to add, wish my model had a see through gauge.

Great wood splitter!

The Boss 10 ton electric wood splitter arrived on a steel framed crate, very well protected. This machine is considerably heavier than other Asian made electric splitters. While it is a bit slow it has split every piece of wood I have attempted, including large Maple logs and crotches (turned the correct way). I was surprised that the 4 way wedge worked as well as it did (I would not split crotches with the 4 way). The work table is very strong and large enough for most moderate logs so that you do not have to pick up the split pieces from the ground each time. You may have to unload large log pieces to continue splitting the other half of the log. Over all, I am very happy with the combination of splitting power and size of machine with the electric power advantage of operating on a 20 amp circuit. Being able to split wood to the right as well as the left helps save time. It is faster than having to power return the wedge for the next split and is more reliable than the spring return on the cheaper splitters. I am happy with my purchase.

Works well!!! No problems!! Splitting oak logs easily. Sometimes axel nuts come loose. Would be helpful to have a remove able front wheel As the splitter is heavy and awkward to move around. All said very pleased with it!! Customer service was great and helpful. Order was placed and shipped right away. We live in California and thought it would be a while But it came in short time!!! Thank you Wood Splitters!!! Will definitely come back to buy from you again.
