Wyndscent 2.0 Unit

Nearly perfect or just lucky?

On the first hunt using my wyndscent 2.0 I was unable to get it into the power/product saving 3 second setting so I was forced to use it in the 1 second setting. About an hour into the hunt a doe casually walked past the stand seemingly following the Doe Estrus scent. 40 minutes later a buck followed behind and was harvested. Not sure if the buck was following the Wyndscent or the earlier doe but both seemed calm and confident. Still not sure why I can’t get it into the 1 second mode but hard to complain with the results.

Negative effects

I tried this product in 2 different hunting areas about 1 hour drive apart and had negative effects at both areas throughout the year. Deer paid no attention to it unless directly down wind and each time they got directly down wind and smelled the scent they blew and ran. Three stars because the device does work and the deer smelled it about 150-175yrds away but did not create the desired effect. Will try a new scent next year since I have the device but not holding my breathe for different results.

Awesome tool

I've now used both the Wyndscent mini and 2.0. I like how it packs in and out of hunts nice and offers extra cover scent for those light wind days.
